This customized linear motor axis was specially designed to meet the requirements of a complex assembly process for medical devices.
The axis is supplied as a Plug&Play drive unit including integrated servo drive. The stator of the LMC ironless linear motor also serves here as the base body for the linear motor axis. The QH series linear guideway and the HIWIN magnetic distance measuring system are mounted on the stator to save space. The micro servo drive and the compressed air media supply are installed directly on the aluminium travel block.
The result is a compact linear motor axis – and it is highly dynamic and virtually maintenance-free.
